October 31, 2022 Newsletter

As fall is upon us, we’re hard at work on our annual campaign to support our community impact in 2023! This year’s campaign theme is “Give Where You Live” – emphasizing that your dollars stay right here in Chippewa and Eau Claire counties. Payroll deductions starting as low as $1 per paycheck can have a great impact when combined with many other donors in our network.

I’m proud to say our United Way has taken a leadership role in the community on many solutions-focused collaborations in the past year. You’ll continue to hear more about our child care, digital equity, youth and young adult homelessness, and maternal and child health work along with our $1,000,000 annual investment though our grant program.

Your gift to United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley not only secures our grant commitment, but also ensures our team has the capacity to continue engaging in emerging community problems. If your company does not participate in a workplace campaign, you can easily donate by visiting www.uwgcv.org/give. Thanks for your consideration!

With gratitude,

Updates from the Digital Equity and Inclusion Initiative

A grand total of 28 community members will be receiving laptops that are both affordable and reliable. This is possible through the collaboration between Eau Claire County's Department of Human Services, PCs for People, and United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley. We will continue to support these households by providing a connection to training and affordable internet.
