Hello Fellow United Way Leaders and Supporters!
My name is Miriam Gehler and I am honored and humbled to be taking on the Board Chair role for United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley for
the one year term (7/22-6/23). I want to thank
Kyle Darley of W.S. Darley & Co. for his incredible leadership this past year as Board Chair. Personally, I have had the pleasure of growing
up in this beautiful community and it has been
a joy to see the community strength and vitality continue to grow!
Currently I am serving as the Administrative Director of Regional Operations for Marshfield Clinic Health System here in Eau Claire/Chippewa Falls. The role that United Way of Greater Chippewa Valley plays for our patients is so impactful. Seeing this direct
connection and support United Way has on our patients and spilling over into our community moves me to give my time and financial support to this great organization.
United Way’s mission of “improve lives and build stronger Chippewa Valley communities by bringing resources together …” happens every day and is the soul of the organization. Our community has many resources and United Way is able to help connect those in need with the resources available. One of the many elements I appreciate about United Way is that they support our fellow community members with basic needs as well as programs that include tools for self-development and sustainability. This plan not only supports our community but also empowers them for future success.
