July 17, 2002 Newsletter

Welcome! As we hit July and the beginning of our new fiscal year, I’d like to reflect on a successful 2021-2022 year. What have we been up to this past year, you ask? See below for some highlights!

  • Announced $1 Million annual investment in 28 programs for 2022-2025
  • Led completion of a community coordinated plan for youth and young adult homelessness
  • Formed a child care task force and were awarded a supply building Dream Up grant
  • Began forming a digital equity & inclusion program and were awarded a grant from the Public Service Commission to assist with funding
  • Relaunched home visiting council that had been dormant since 2020
  • Hosted first Chippewa Valley Spirit Awards since 2019

These are only some of the things we’ve been working on this past year. As you can see, our United Way is growing and taking on new things to benefit our region. As we enter campaign season, I’d like to thank you for investing in our continued growth. Our theme this year is “Give Where You Live”. Investing in United Way allows the work noted above to continue to thrive and grow.

Here are a few upcoming events to keep on your calendar
  • September 16 – Day of Caring
  • September 28 – Impact Tour

Thank you all for your continued support of our work at United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley.

Sincerely,

Andrew Neborak
