Welcome, we are excited to be in the midst of the 2021 campaign season! I am honored to introduce myself as the current United Way of the Greater Chippewa Valley Campaign Chair.
My wife and I moved to the Chippewa Valley in 2011 and have come to love the area and everything it has to offer. The Chippewa Valley is fortunate to have a strong community that cares about giving back and making a difference through supporting United Way. My wife and I are thankful to call the Chippewa Valley home and are proud to raise our two sons here.
Three years ago, I became a member of the Board of Directors for United Way and I have been involved in the campaign cabinet since that time. I was recently asked what feels different about the campaign this year, and the thought that came to mind was one of excitement and optimism. We have all been living through a pandemic for the last year and half which has brought about many changes, such as virtual campaigns. This year, as we meet with companies to kick off their workplace campaigns, everyone is excited to get back to safely planned in-person events that create a team building atmosphere. Employers should be proud that they take part in the United Way Campaign, and donors should be proud to support the United Way and work for a company that cares about their surrounding community.
As a final note, I’d like to take a minute to express my gratitude to the entire campaign cabinet that has volunteered their time in 2021. Their time and effort are what make the campaign a success and we could not do it without them.
